New Delhi:Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reached out to Narendra Modi today to express his condolences on the passing of industrialist and global icon Ratan Tata. He noted that many in Israel are mourning Mr. Tata’s death.
Ratan Tata passed away on October 9 at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai, where he was undergoing routine health checks due to his age.
In his message, Netanyahu praised Mr. Tata’s role in strengthening India-Israel relations, stating, “I and many in Israel mourn the loss of Ratan Naval Tata, a proud son of India and a champion of the friendship between our two nations.” He also requested Modi to extend his condolences to Tata’s family.
