New Delhi: On Monday, Samsung introduced the latest addition to its Galaxy F series in India—the Galaxy F55 5G, featuring a 50MP camera.
The Galaxy F55 5G is available in three storage variants: 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB. The smartphone can be purchased on Flipkart, Samsung.com, and at select retail stores, starting at Rs 26,999.
The device comes in two color options: Apricot Crush and Raisin Black.
“With the Galaxy F55 5G, Samsung is offering a classy vegan leather design with a saddle stitch pattern for the first time in the F series. The elegant vegan leather back panel with saddle stitch pattern and the camera deco in a golden hue exudes premium aesthetics,” said Raju Pullan, Senior Vice-President of the MX Division at Samsung India, in a statement.
The new smartphone boasts a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED+ display with 1000 nits of high brightness. Weighing only 180 grams and measuring 7.8mm in width, it is designed to be highly ergonomic.
The phone features a 120Hz refresh rate, providing a smooth scrolling experience on social media feeds.
For photography enthusiasts, the device is equipped with a 50MP (OIS) ‘No Shake Camera’ for high-resolution, shake-free videos and photos, along with an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The front camera also boasts a 50MP high-resolution sensor.
Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen1 processor, the Galaxy F55 5G allows seamless multitasking. It includes a 5000mAh battery and supports 45W super-fast charging.
