Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister, is expected to address the state assembly on Monday regarding Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest and the AP Skill Development Corporation (APSSDC) scam.
On Monday, discussions in the assembly will focus on various government initiatives, including women’s empowerment, the regularization of assigned lands (comprehensive land survey I), and corruption in assigned lands during the previous Telugu Desam government’s tenure. September 26 will see deliberations on the advancement of the agriculture sector, government actions in this regard, and corruption related to Fibernet during the Telugu Desam party’s term.
The following day, topics of discussion will include corruption within CRDA’s outer ring road design alignment change in Amaravati, transformative changes in the health sector, and government efforts for temple development. Members of the YSR Congress are confident about exposing Naidu’s involvement in various scams, such as the assigned lands scam in Amaravati, the FiberNet scandal, and the Amaravati Inner Ring Road scandal. Their focus will extend to Chandrababu Naidu and his son, Nara Lokesh.

It’s worth noting that the CID registered a case related to the inner ring road (IRR) alignment and the seed capital case. Chandrababu Naidu is the primary accused in this case, followed by Ponguru Narayana, who was the minister for municipal administration & urban development at the time. Additionally, Lingamaneni Ramesh, Lingamaneni VS Rajasekhar of the Lingamaneni group, KPV Anjani Kumar of RK Housing, Heritage Foods of Naidu’s family, and others are also implicated.
The CID’s investigation suggests that Naidu, Narayana, and others in positions of authority intentionally conspired to benefit certain institutions and companies, including Narayana Group Institutions, Lingamaneni Group, Rama Krishna Housing Pvt. Ltd, Heritage Foods, at the expense of the public exchequer. They allegedly abused their official positions by directing the selection of agencies for designs and drawings of the Master Plan for the Amaravati Capital City, the alignment of the Inner Ring Road (IRR), and the Seed Capital.
The alleged scams linked to Naidu, including the AP FibreNet scam and the Amaravati assigned lands issue, are expected to be hot topics of discussion in the assembly over the next three days, according to political sources.
